My camera was set wrong when we went up Pikes Peak a couple of weeks ago. You can tell by the pictures on the previous page. I wanted a really good picture by the Summit Sign and the only way to do that was to go again! This morning George Stubbs from Denver and I again "raced for the clouds!" George did not drive his TC but did a great job of taking pictures of mine. We had a great time. Going up was not a problem, nor was coming down. I believe that if I had left the TC in low gear it would have made the descent without brakes. Second gear required the use of brakes at times, but was acceptable. Half way down this mountain they stop you and check the temperature of your brakes. Mine were 122 degrees, which is very cool. Enjoy the pictures, just click on a thumbnail for a full size picture. Thanks for looking. Bud Silvers TC 8192 - Low n slo in the Black Forest of Colorado.... IS THIS CLASS? - OR WHAT? 14,110 FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL! SECURED WITH THE FINEST AMERICAN DUCT TAPE AVAILABLE!
